6.3 Online Trainer
I am presenting on this page animated trainers and drills to practice your "music theory skills" online:

1. Notes and Piano-Keys:
Note Trainer    Drill - Note Reading  
Description: Improve your ability to recognize notes on the staff and find the write key.
Features: Randomly generates notes for the Treble, Bass, Tenor, and Alto clefs.
Drill - Piano Key Finder   Identify the notes on the staff by clicking the proper key on a piano keyboard pictured on the screen. You can also play the keyboard before running the tutorial.
Drill - Speed Reading   Identify the notes sliding across the staff before they disappear into oblivion! This is a very effective way to quickly learn the grand staff once you have gained a general familiarity with it.
Keyboard Trainer
Description: Improve your ability to recognize notes on the keyboard.
Features: Option to turn on/off root black keys

2. Keysignature:
Key Trainer   
Description: Improve your ability to recognize different key signatures.
Features
: Select any number of key signatures to work with; support for all four clef types; support for both major and minor key signatures
Drill - Key Signatures    Identify the key signature that appears on the grand staff by clicking on- screen buttons with the mouse. You can determine whether the key is major or minor by listening to a chord, listening to a scale, or simply being told. Also tests if you know the relative major/minor.

3. Intervals:
Interval Trainer
Description: Improve your ability to recognize intervals on the staff.
Features: Option to turn on/off augmented and diminished intervals; option to disable double accidentals from appearing
Interval Drills    There are two different modes to help you learn your intervals: in "interval building" mode, you place the note with the right accidental in the right place to form the interval asked for. In "identifying intervals" mode, you identify the interval shown on the staff.
Interval Ear Trainer
Description: Improve your ear's ability to recognize intervals.
Features: Customize the intervals that are generated; select either ascending or descending intervals; select three different types of 'play modes'; generate and print detailed progress reports

4.Triads/Cords and there Inversions:
Triad Trainer
Description: Improve your ability to recognize triads on the staff.
Features: Option to turn on/off root notes with accidentals; can generate inversions
Drill - Chords    Build and identify triads or 7th chords on the treble staff, with options similar to those in Interval Drills.
Chord Ear Trainer
Description: Improve your ear's ability to recognize triads and seventh chords.
Features: Customize the chords that are generated; select whether or not to play inversions; select two different types of 'play modes';
generate and print detailed progress report

Scale Ear Trainer
Description: Improve your ear's ability to recognize scales and church modes.
Features: Customize the scales and church modes that are generated; select whether or not to play the scale descending; generate and print detailed progress reports
Scale Building    Strengthen your knowledge and understanding of scales by building them one note at a time on a treble staff.
